Our Promise: Glowwe Lab is an educational tool. We believe your skincare journey is deeply personal. We do not sell your personal skin profiles, routines, or contact information to third-party marketing agencies or cosmetic brands.
1. Account Creation & Personal Data
To use the advanced features of Glowwe Lab (such as saving products to your digital cabinet or building routines), you must register for an account. When you do, we collect and securely store:
- Your chosen username and email address.
- A securely hashed version of your password (we cannot see your actual password).
2. The Skin Profile Quiz Data
When you take our clinical Skin Profile Quiz to discover your ingredient matches and conflicts:
- If you are logged in: Your results (Skin Type, Focus Concern, and Sensitivity Level) are saved to your account in our secure database so the ecosystem can personalize your experience every time you return.
- If you are a guest: The results are temporarily stored locally in your browser session to personalize your immediate visit. They are cleared when your session ends.
3. Saved Routines & Community Reviews
Glowwe Lab allows you to save products, bookmark ingredients, and write formulation reviews. Please note:
- Your saved routines and bookmarked ingredients are private and visible only to you via your My Hub dashboard.
- If you choose to write a product review, your comment, star rating, and username will be displayed publicly to help the Glowwe community. Your skin type and concern may also be displayed alongside your review to provide context for other users.
4. Information Collection & Cookies
We use standard session cookies to keep you logged in and to maintain your platform preferences. We also collect non-identifying server logs (such as browser type and basic page view analytics) to ensure our servers remain secure and to understand which ingredients and products are currently trending.
5. Third-Party Links & Affiliates
Glowwe Lab contains external links to cosmetic brands, retailers, and research papers. We also utilize affiliate links to support the platform. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, tracking cookies, or terms of service of those external websites once you leave the Lab.
6. Data Deletion & Contact
You have the right to request the deletion of your account and all associated personal data (including routines, profile data, and reviews) at any time.
